Gallbladder symptoms in adults can occur due to various factors. Gallbladder is a small organ, located under your ribs, on the right side. Your liver produces the bile, and then the bile is stored in the gallbladder. Gallbladder regulates the release of bile, which is very important for digestion. Adults are more prone to gallbladder disorders than children are. Women are especially prone to gallbladder problems. Other risk factors include:

The most common symptoms are:
● Abdominal pain
● Abdominal discomfort
● Chest pain
● Constant fatigue
● Mild fever
Abdominal pain usually starts after a meal. It can be very persistent and can last for hours. In most people, this pain starts under the ribcage, on the right side, and it can spread to the right shoulder or back.
If you experience these symptoms, go to your doctor as soon as possible. Keep in mind that gallbladder problems can be treated if diagnosed early. If you wait, your condition can become more complicated. Untreated gallbladder disorders often require gallbladder removal.
How to Treat Gallbladder Disease
If diagnosed early, gallbladder disease can be treated with medications and natural remedies. However, in most cases, it is hard to make an early diagnose, because the symptoms occur very late.
People who have gallbladder problems are advised to avoid certain foods. For example, you won’t be allowed to eat foods like cabbage, broccoli, and foods that contain cholesterol, hydrogenated oils, too much sugar and artificial sweeteners. Fatty foods and fried foods should be avoided, too. Beverages that contain caffeine and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
You will be allowed to consume fruits, vegetables, and non-fat dairy, whole grains and fruit juices. You will also be allowed to eat lean meat.
